The SIT AND BE FIT Arthritis Workout contains a combination of medically sound exercises, creatively choreographed to a variety of music by Mary Ann Wilson, RN, Creator/Host of the PBS television program. This workout, designed to help manage arthritis, uses a one-inch and ten-inch ball in several segments. Also, Dr. John Klippel from the Arthritis Foundation provides valuable information about managing this condition, and as an added bonus, both the VHS and DVD include the original Arthritis Workout.

The original Arthritis Workout is a slow moving, gentle, balanced workout designed for those needing slow, gentle movements. The video addresses arthritic conditions throughout the body and adheres to the Arthritis Foundation exercise guidelines. The introduction includes a review of exercise facts and guidelines.

Those with total hip replacement must be aware of their positioning precautions as some of the exercises may compromise the total hip arthroplasty. This is the best video and especially helpful for those with rheumatory arthritis.
